I was wrong.  I figured Sarah Palin would cripple the McCain ticket.  If anything she has energized the ticket.  It’s still anybody’s game.

To illustrate this, look at he electorial map to the right.  This was a snapshot from August 18, 2004, of the electorial vote polling from Electoral-Vote.com.

Kerry 317, Bush 202.

The 2nd map to the right is today’s map.

Obama 273   McCain 238

It could go either way depending on how many voters turn out and who stays home.

 

It’ll be an interesting election night.
